The familyhomesteaded on the same half section on which Breezelawn school was later built.Mr. McClaughry was born In the County of Tipperary, Ireland. Hedistrict, by Rev. R. Thynne, at that time minister of Knox church in Souris.. and Mrs. McClaughry* farm-for many years. In 1926 theycame to this country in 1889 with,moved into Souris, his mother, Mrs. B. Trayer, his They have a family of five; Pearl, stepfather having preceeded them Lester and Lyle, of Souris; Andrew by six months. Their destination;in Victoria. B. C.; Mrs. V. T. Cole, was Griswold. As a lad he attended of I^dner. B. C. There are two Huntingdon school, being one oi, grandchildren.
