The camp, located on Long-Sought-For ■pond in Westford, will officially open on June 30 for a six week period.Campers will register on that day be I ween ihe hours of 2 and 5 o'clock.Mrs, Barbara Brower, RN, will bo at the camp this season: and will examine each girl upon arrival,Mrs. Charles Talbot, camp director, has announced June 26 as the date of staff arrival, The girls will he given a short training period to be reacquainted with the dally routine,Miss Laura Peterson of Groton will be senior counselor in charge of all juniorcounselors, Miss Peterson attended the University of Pennsylvania Jast year.Miss Carolyn Talbot of Lowell will be waterfront di*BeginningGibson, center, senior counselor, flanked by Joyce Johnston, left, and Adrith Pihl, funior counselors.__Help WantedCHICAGO (UPD-The American Hospilal Association urgesrector. Miss Talbot attended the University of Colorado last year,Miss Judith Ann Burns of Brookline will be teaching eampcrafl Miss Burns was present 'at the Girl Scout round-up in Button Bayf Vt., last year. ' Miss Meridoth Gibson will be spending her ninth year at. Weetamoo and will be leaching arts and •crafts. Miss Sheila Condrey will teach land sports.JUNIOR counselors include the Misses Jean Rod-ger; Helen Vurgaroupuios, Adrith Fihl Deborah Shapiro, Joyce Johnston and Diana Strobl These girls will be rotated through out the camp each week, so that their training and experience will reach ad phases of camp life.One of ihe most popular persons on the promises is the camp cook and this position will be capably filled by Mrs. Eugene Saoger andyoulh in search of a career to look to the local-hospital The country's nearly 7,000 hospitals employ almost 17 million persons in some 200 job classifications, ranging from accountant to X-ray technician. Even with this large number of persons employed, the association re-pDrted that many positions In hospitals are unfilled because of shortages of personnelher assistant Mrs! Leona Stoc.The YWOA camp staff is most grateful for the re-sponse to the “Cathy Camp* er,J letter which was sent to Creater-Lowell residents several weeks ago. To maintain a high standard of camping acceptable to the-YWCA and the American Camping association, these •donations are truly needed, as'the camp is operated on a non-profit basis and there is no budget for repairs and new equipment.Friends interested in helping to share these expenses may do so by sending a contribution to the YWOA, 50 John street.
