Westford board namesthree school nursesWESTFORD — The school committee, afterreviewing some 20 applications for the position ofschool nurse, this week appointed Mrs. Margret Sudak, as head school nurse, and Mrs. BarbaraBrewer and Mrs. Ann MoCusker as the other twonurses. IMrs. Sudak has been employed as a schoolnurse assigned to the North Middle School.The other two new health positions were for visual and hearing technicians. Only two local candidates applied and received the appointments, Mrs. Melva-Jean Shepherd and Mrs. Delores Haley.Stephen Beskalo was appointed head custodian for the new Westford Academy and Francis Van-dever was appointed for the new Middle school.Secretarial appointments made this week were Mrs. Margaret Latham, North Middle staff secretary, Mrs. Jeanne Laushine, new Middle school executive secretary and Mrs. Lorraine Hurley, staff secretary for the new Middle school.Mrs. Linda Draper was appointed staff secretary at the Nabnassett School and at Westford Academy. Mrs. Mary Kay Stiling was appointed records secretary, and Mrs. Sandra Lisk, media clerk and Mrs. Evelyn Deane was appointed library clerk for the North Middle School.Mrs. Glenna Oteri, secretary for the school committee, submitted her resignation to become effective July 1.
