Her. S. G. fipattawood of Boston, who I# connected with the African Methodist Episcopal ZLon church was pree-ent for a time and greeted many Low- ‘ ell friends. The auction of a large cake, sent on from Washington, TL O., was one of the features of the affair.It was made by Mrs. Lew In Ambler, mother of Mrs. James Lriggs of this city, who was In cnarge of the social assisted by a committee which included Mrs, James Thompson, William Hzzard, Mrs. Harry Lew end George Gale. Piano music was played by Mrs. Herbert* Robs.
