TUe duties of this committee are individual. rn dor tlian collective—that is to say, tliat while thecommittee may rarely be called together, each due has the power, by recommending sktgers to tlie Cincinnati Chorus, of materially assisting in the success of the festival; for upon the efficiency of the Cincinnati Chorus will depend much of the musical success of this great undertaking. This committee is composed of many of the celebrated musical professors of the eity, aud within thcimequaintance are large numbers of amateur singers, who will glady Join in ihis effort to advance the cause of good music fn the West.The only action necessary In the premises is for the examiner to send to Dr. C. C. Miller, official agcut, Room No. 20, Pike’s Building, the mines and qualifications of the candidate, which w ill be enrolled, and be or she will in due season Itc informed of the place aud time of meeting of the chorus for rehearsal.It should be understood that there will be no expense to the members of this chorus. The cost of music, hall, conductor, and any other items are defrayed by the Executive Committee.The names of the Committee of Examination are as followe;Mes«rs.
