The marriage of Evelyn Phyllis daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Averay-Jones, to Mr. Edward Har old Charles Frank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Frank, was sol emnized April 15, at 7.30 p.m., at the home of the bride's parents, 164 Katest, Rev. P. T. Pilkey officiated, Messrs. Frank Morrison and Ed ward Miller played the wedding music, Mr. Louis Watt was the best man. The ushers were Messrs Harold Sproule and Edgar Averay- Jones. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a period gown of marina blue taffeta with a white chiffon yoke. The bodice was laced with white velvet ribbon which fell in streamers to the hem line. Her chapel veil of marina blue tulle was held with white roses and lilies of the valley. She carried white irises and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Blanche Millicent Averay-Jones, the bride's sister, wore a princess gown of yellow moire with matching bolero. Matching flowers held her yellow chapel veil in place. Her bouquet was of yellow Token roses and lilies of the valley. The little flower girl, Joan Davis, niece of the bride, wore a yellow crepe de chine frock and carried a Colonial bouquet of daffodils and tulips. Mr. and Mrs. Frank left for Rosewood, Ont. They will make their home at Waldhof, Ont For going away, the bride wore in brown tweed suit with a gold jigger coat and French hat. Talis man roses and irises formed her corsage. The bride’s mother chose a black crepe dress with a corsage of Talis man roses. The mother of the bridegroom wees a maroon crepe dress with a corsage of Talisman roses.
