Mr. and Mrs. David Paul ClarkClark — CopetSt. Augustine's Church was the setting May 8, when Karen Lee Copet, (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Copet of Brandon, became the bride of David Paul Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald L. Clark, also of Brandon.Father Peter Dunphy officiated and Mrs. E. Hamel provided the wedding music.The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a full-length satin gown with empire bodice with lace and pearl sequins, high neckline inset and a nylon sheer yoke with white pearls. The gown had long sleeves trimmed in lace and a lace-trimmed ruffle on the skirt.Her headpiece was lace and pearl-covered with a two-tiered chapel veil bordered in lace. She carried a cascade of red roses.Miss Terry Phillips was the maid of honor while the bridesmaids were Mrs. Claudette Bullion and Miss Colleen Copet, sisters of the bride.They wore matching floor-length gowns of mint green floral polyester sheer over mint green taffeta. The gowns hadhigh necklines, short, sheer bell sleeves and princess-line skirts. They carried bouquets of white and yellow carnations.The mother of the bride wore a floor-length gown of peach interlock knit with an A-line skirt, long, cuffed sleeves and a V-neckline. She had white accessories and a white carnation corsage.The groom’s mother wore a floor-length gown of blue floral polyester sheer over blue taffeta with a V-neckline, full skirt gathered at the front and bell-shaped long sleeves. She had silver accessories and white carnation corsage. •Mr. Ralph Lowes was the best man while the usher was Mr. Roy Bullion, brother-in-law of the bride.Mr. Lowes also proposed the toast to the bride at a reception held at Brandon University’s main dining room.For travelling, the bride chose a powder blue polyester pant suit with a blue floral blouse and pink carnation corsage.Mr. and Mrs. David Paul Clark will reside at 11-1140 Nineteenth Street.
