Fire early this mornng de stroyed a house trailer at the McClenathan’s Trailer park in Route 2 near Route 60 in the town of Pomfret, Fredonia. Sitermen responded to the call at 6:20 this morning after receiving a telephone call from one of the neighbors in the trailer park, . Responding with a tanker and a pumper Fredonia firemen found the trailer engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene. The owner of the trailer is Clarence McClenathan, also owner of the trailer park. Late this morning, Mr. McClenathan told the Evening OBSERVER that he believes the fire start ed somewhere near the televi sion set. Fire officials said they believe that the fire may have started from the space heater. All three occupants of the trailer, who remain unidenti fied, escaped without injury. It has been reported that one oc cupant had left for work in Silver Creek’ minutes before the fire broke out. Fredonia firemen were back at their hail at 7:20. The trailer has been determined a total loss. Firemen returned to the scene shortly after when the fire rekindled. The blaze was quickly quelled.
