St. Mary's Catholic Church, at Point Plersamt, the rectory and its contents were destroyed by fire Monday after noon. ‘The building was * large, and had been greatly improved last spring. The fire started in tha fectory, and was ‘beyond control of the firemen be fore they reached the building. The loss is estimated to be about $15,000. A fire in Jamesburg Monday morn ing destroyed three stores,her damage amounting to more than $12,000. The faze started th {the Eagle Clothing Company's store, and was discovered by ‘Watchman John, BE, Hampton. © It communicated---to James . Erhart's grocery store adjoining.A millinery store In the same building also was de stroyed. The residence of Benjamin B. Devison Ways slightly damaged... The origin of the free is unknown. The properties were partly Inaured. .
