Painting of Church (Presented Minister By Local ArtistA handsome water color painting of the Ukiuh Presbyterian church was presented to the Rev. Robert C. Groves, church pastor, by the artist, Virginia Lein-Fitch and members of the Seven Thirty i club last Thursday evening at the j conclusion of an enjoyable prog-I ressive dinner party enjoyed by j approximately 55 members of the j club. The painting shows the front, or northern view, of the local landmark, which is to be replaced by a new church struc-* ore.Mr. anti Mrs. A1 Frnga entertained the large group for the appetizer course of the progressive dinner after which guests picked up their individual folding chair and moved on to the home of Dr.; and Mrs. Roy Swain for a steaming bowl of clam chowder.Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sweeley served the salad course and Mr.; and Mrs. Douglas Cruickshank I opened their patio for the main course which consisted of baked ham, scalloped potatoes and vegetable.Final course of strawberry shortcake was served in the home ' of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cook where , presentation of the water color painting was made.
