When Herbert Evans, manager of Luna Park, Coney Island, stepped into the Edwards theater last night to see the showing of “Redeeming Sin,” a familiar face greeted him in the French priest of the film— Lionel Belmore. Evans, who was formerly associ ated with Harold Lloyd in pictures, was in Los Angeles last year when the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey shows exhibited there. Living near Belmore, it was at his request that Evans took the old actor to see the performance and to meet John Ringling. Belmore be gan his career as a performer with the French circus—Ginnett’s—and was later with Bostock, Wombell and Bailey, a European circus.
