Thelma Elaine Stevenson Thelma Elaine Stevenson, a sis ter of Mrs. Mabel Nieder of Law rence, died Sunday in a Pueblo, Colo., hospital. She was 50 years old, and had been ill for some time. A native of the Lone Star com munity, she had moved to Devine, Colo., with her family in 1911, and the following year to Pueblo, where she lived until her death. She was graduated from Kansas University in 1928 and was a physical educa tion instructor in the Pueblo public schools until last fall. Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. Tuesday at Pueblo. Other sur vivors include three other sisters, Mrs. Lila Childs of Holton, Mrs. Fay Meade of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Vera Ulneh of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, John Steven son of Long Beach, Calhff., and Wal ter Stevenson of Bakersfield, Calif. Phy Matilda Nichols Mrs. Phy Matilda Nichols, Eu dora, Route 1, died Saturday eve ning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Viola Hagerman of Vinland. She was 80 years old. Services will be at 2 pm, Tues day with Earl Johnson in charge. Burial will be in Deay Cemetery. Other survivors include five sons, Clyde Nichols of Eudora, Raymond Nichols of Auburn, John L. Nichols of Lawrence, Marlin Nichols of Vinland and Dale Nich ols of the home; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Janet Innes Hobart Mrs. Janet Innes Hobart, Law rence native and a resident here for 64 years, died early today at Wichita, after a lingering illness She was 80 years old Mrs. Hobart had lived for one year in Wichita, but had spent most of her life in Lawrence be fore moving to Topeka in 1940. She was a member of the First Presby terian Church here. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Funk-Cooper- Warren Chapel. Burial will be priv ate. Survivors include two sons, Her bert Bullene of Wichita and George Bullene of Hutchinson, and two grandsons Curtis Elton (Slim) Wilson Curtis Elton (Slim) Wilson, 68, died Saturday at his home, M4 Conn. St. He was a local farm im plement dealer Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Rumsey Fu neral Home, with Rev. Rudolph C. Tatsch and Rev. C. J. Knox in charge Burial will be in Under wood Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Lou ise Allen Wilson, of the home: two daughters, Mrs. Betty Perkins of Fedora and Mrs. Mary Lou Shoff ner of San Diego, Calif.; five sons, Tiuane A. Wilson of Topeka, Curtis ©. Wilson of San Pablo, Calif... and Richard Wilson, John Wilson and Lloyd Wilson, all of Lawrence; two brothers, K. M. Wilson of Law rence and J. B Wilson of Topeka; 12 grandchildren.
