QUITMAN—Miss Carolyn Yates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yates, became the bride of Gene McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Mc Donald, Nov. 2 at a candle light ceremony performed by the Rev. Douglas Mitchell in the home of the bride. The couple recited their vows before an arrangement of pine and polished magnolia. Chry santhemums provided floral ac cents “Phe—brides -wore—a-—-arey suit with black’ accessories and had a lavender-orchid corsage. Her maid of honor, Mrs. Troy Mc Donald, her twin sister, wore a lavender suit with black acces sories and had a corsage of chrysanthemums... Troy McDonald brother ,of the bridegroom,was--best- man. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Yates, chose a light + blue suit with black accesories. Mrs. McDonald had a navy blue dress with matching accessories. Both had chrysanthemum corsages.
