Tnwii- j send, who had gone out to attend i 11'' Ityoung man. and shortly aider arrival. ; Dr. Stone, of the Llano hospital, as-sisled by Dr. Townsend, perfouned an operation, which apparently is going to restore the injured man.It seems that Mr. Summers was inthe act of reaching for the bridb.*on the horse to gel up into the saddle. He had just killed a rabbit with which to bait some traps and some, of the blood was on his hand. The horse became frightened and whirled and kicked the young man just over the kidney. The terrific blow ruptured the capsule around the kidney.Much fear was entertained for his life Monday and Tuesday night, but, we are pleased to report that his condition is sonu\vhat improved and it is hoped now that he may recover.
