HUNTINGTON BEACH, Nov. 11.—Scout honors were conferred on a group of Scouts at the Boy Scout but Friday night, in the presence of the Scout troops and Scout officials of city and county. Ray Duus, chairman of the court of honor committee, made a pa riotic talk on Armistice day and the results of the World war. Duus introduced Wellington De La Vergne, who had charge of pre senting the badges to the Scouts. Those getting tenderfoot badges were W. Tinsley, Chris Warren, Richard Green and David Robert son. Second class Scout badges were given William Standish, Mar tin Weirman, Ed Tinsley, Sam Ferguson, Leonard Cooper and Kenneth McIntosh. First class Scout badges were presented to William Cumby, Ray Overacker Jr. and Lawrence Howald. Merit badges were awarded to William Cumby, Reginald Pate, David Calahan, Woodrow Honold, Lawrence Honold and George Honold. Harrison White, county Scout executive, was Introduced and presented life Scout member ships to Reginald Pate and George Honold. White talked on lrst aid. Members of troop 41, new Scout troop of Orange county, were in troduced. Scoutmaster Joe Gebauer da in charge of the troop and the following members of the troop received tender foot badges: Mel vin Anderson, Norman Harding, James Attinick, Ross Brown, Ray mond Holk, Wilbur Fox, Paul Harding, Noel Hungwrut, Donald McClelland, Gladstone McIntosh, Melvin Parr, Cecil Bally, Charles Hill, Vic Turner and Clark Brown Woodrow Howald sounded “taps” l at the close of the meeting.
