Kent at tended the Kenton Fair, Thurs day, ‘and spent the evening at the ‘home of the latter's. ‘brother*in dow; and sister, Mr.,and Mrs. ‘Orville’ Ramsey, near Ridgeway. Karen Magsig’ spent Tuesday night of last week with’ Carol Smith. The Allen Goodwill Society will hold its October meeting next Tuesday evening in the school auditorium with Lutrelle Caryl and Joan Paver in charge of the program. It will include the 4-H achievements of Allen Live: Wires, Allen, Merry Cooks and ‘Allen Star Stockman. Special ‘invitation is issued to all 4-H members of these ‘clubs and parents.. Mrs.. D. D. Bennett and Mrs... Johnny Caryl will serve refreshments.. Sue ‘Ann and Rodney Spain, of Marysville, and Pamela Kay and James Kent Hastings, of Colum bus, spent' the week-end with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kent. The Hastings twins remained for this week while their father, Lt. (J. G.) James D. Hastings, USNR, to: »Quonset Point, R. 1, Naval Air Station. ‘Mr.’ and Mrs. Myron Magsig and daughter, Karen, attended a program at WBNS television stu dio, in’ Columbus,’ Sunday,eve ning where Karen was one of 10 children’ on the program. Word was received here last ‘week of the death of Mrs. Omer ‘Eton’ in’ Marion.. The Eatons were former residents of Allen town ship. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Williamson, of Richwood, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Williamson, of Bellefontaine, called at the home of Mr.; and Mrs. Harold Kent, Sunday evening, en route to their home after a visit in Dallas, and Mexico City. Mr., and Mrs. Fred Magsig, of Marysville, spent Sunday evening at the home of their son, Myron. The annum, homecoming of the Allen Center Baptist church will be held on Oct. 22.
