Cohocton, Sept. 26.*A few days ago when Mrs. Ella Helring returned from the canning factory at noon, she found the door locked, but the key had disappeared from where she kept it. On gaining entrance to the house she soon discovered that her trunk had been broken open and $50 stolen from it. As the house is on West Ma ple avenue, in a very prominent place near the Lackawanna crossing with other houses near and the robbery done in broad day, just how it wage done is a mystery.
