The body of Jens Maynard Jen sen, Freeborn county war dead, will arrive here Friday afternoon for reburial services to be held Saturday. Mr. Jensen, 38, was a resident of Clarks Grove. He was born Jan. 25, 1906, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Jacob Jensen. He entered the Army Mar. 23, 1942, with Company G of the 32nd Infantry and was kill ed in action on Attu May 17, 1943. His wife, the former Elsie Mae Jones, died Feb. 17, 1940. They were married Dec. 2, 1937. Mr. Jensen's father died in 1920, and his mother in 1944. He is survived by his son, Lau rence, 10, Lyle; two brothers, James and Clarence, Clarks Grove and six sisters, Mrs. W R. Means, Albert Lea; Mrs. Lawrence Mar tin, Clarks Grove; Mrs. Chris Ras mussen, Hartland; Mrs. Henry Stensrud, Freeborn; Mrs. Ray Lar son, Freeborn, and Mrs. Curtis Stensrud, Coeur D'Alene, Ida. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the North Free born Lutheran church, Rev. Finn A. Magelssen officiating. The Hart land and Albert Sea American Legion units will hold military rites. Bonnerup and Son funeral home is in charge.
